While other countries can celebrate the 150th anniversary of the introduction of their first stamps these years,
Greenland can celebrate the 100th anniversary of the first PARCEL POST stamp, which was not an actual stamp, but purely to be used for franking parcel post. This stamp constitutes a significant contribution in acknowledging the postal history of Greenland.
