Monaco: 100th anniversary of the Jean-Paul Sartre birth
French philosopher and writer, Sartre oscillates between existentialism (liberty of being) and the necessity of the commitment, two behaviours quite incompatible. From "L'Etre et le Neant", to "La Nausee" via "Les Mains Sales", Sartre was one of the intellectuals of the big political and humanitarian causes of the post-war years and refused the Literature's Nobel Prize in 1964.
