Seeing the wood for the trees

Australia Post release a new set of stamps on 8th August to coincide with the 22nd World Congress of the International Union of Forest Research Organizations being held from 8 to 13 August 2005 at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The issue consists of five stamps, which represent the diversity of Australia's native trees:

- Snow Gum (Eucalyptus pauciflora)
- Wollemi Pine (Wollemia nobilis)
- Boab (Adansonia gregorii)
- Karri (Eucalyptus diversicolor)
- Moreton Bay Fig (Ficus macrophylla).
