Denmark's Royal Life Guards
Founded in 1658, the Royal Life Guards celebrate their 350th anniversary in 2008. Throughout their existence, the Guards have performed two main duties: guarding royal palaces and castles, and providing troops for the Danish army.

Canada Post to release Braille stamp in April
Canada Post will be unveiling the country's first-ever Braille stamp at the Montreal Association for the Blind (MAB) in Notre Dame de Grace on April 21, coinciding with the 100th anniversary of the MAB's first board meeting.
The stamp celebrates guide dogs for the blind and has the rate printed in Braille.

Children Stamps - Paper Folding Fun
Paper folding is not merely an interesting activity, but also contributes to the beautiful designs of these stamps. Denmark: Nordic Mythology – Mythical Places

Sweden's 'Punctuation' Stamps

The humble "Habbata" (door knocker), a relatively small and insignificant item of furniture, has been chosen to feature on this set of four stamps.
The stamps, with face values of Euro 0.26 (Lm0.11c), Euro 0.51 (Lm0.22c), Euro 0.63 (Lm0.27c) and Euro 1.77 (Lm0.76), are 44.0mm x 31.0mm in size, with a perforation of 13.9mm x 14.0mm (comb). Festivals - Jersey Eisteddfod Centenary
On 3rd March 2008, Jersey Post will issue its latest addition to its Jersey Festivals series with a set of stamps celebrating the Centenary of the Jersey Eisteddfod. Inaugurated in 1908 by Dean Samuel Falle, the first Jersey Eisteddfod took place on 1st October of that year. Since 1908 the continuity of the Eisteddfod has only been disrupted by the First and Second World wars.
