World's Largest Postage Stamp
Acclaimed Kansas artist Stan Herd created a two-acre replica of the Southern Dogface butterfly stamp from one of the four Pollinator stamps.
Herd's creation, the world's largest living stamp, is made up of only plants and other natural materials and is on a family farm outside of Lawrence, Kansas.

The Four Bs Buzz on U.S. Postal Stamp: Bats, Bees, Birds and Butterflies
The United States Postal Service will cast a spotlight on the importance of nature's pollinators with the issuance of the 41-cent Pollination stamps tomorrow, June 29. The first- day-of-issuance ceremony will be led by Patrick R. Donahoe, deputy postmaster general and chief operating officer of the Postal Service, who will be joined by Agriculture Secretary Mike Johanns beginning at 10 a.m. at the United States Department of Agriculture, Whitten Building patio.

Two Hearts Entwined in Love

Australia: Threatened Wildlife
Four Australian animals that are threatened with extinction are featured in this Threatened Wildlife stamp issue.
The Grey-headed Flying-fox is Australia's largest bat and can be found along the eastern coast of Australia from Bundaberg in Queensland to Melbourne and as far west as Warrnambool on the Victorian coast.

Monte-Carlo Magic Stars 2007
Monaco Post have issued a new ˆ1.30 stamp commemorating the annual Monte-Carlo Magic Stars Festival.
The festival takes place between 3 and 7 October this year in the Princess Grace Theatre and finds young magicians competing against each other by performing an array of magic tricks. Internationally renowned magicians then take to the stage in order to show the young pretenders some of their best acts.

FIFA U-20 scores across Canada with new postage stamp
A sport which likely dates back to the 2nd or 3rd centuries B.C. in China will be celebrated in grand fashion when Canada hosts the 16th edition of FIFA U-20 World Cup 2007. A domestic rate stamp will be issued on June 26 to mark the largest single-sport sporting event in Canadian history.

Grande Bourse 2007

USPS Commemorates Historic Lighthouses
Five Pacific Lighthouses will be honored on stamps for their historic role in guiding vessels safely through perilous waters. The five Pacific Lighthouses stamps will honor Diamond Head Light in Hawaii, Five Finger Light in Alaska, Grays Harbor Light in Washington, Umpqua River Light in Oregon and St. George Reef Light in Northern California.

China - Hong Kong Joint Issue
A set of special stamps on "the 10th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region" would be issued on July 1. On the same day, a joint stamp issue with China Post on "the 10th Anniversary of the Reunification of Hong Kong with China" will also be released. Associated stamp products will be on sale from the same date.

Canada Post Salutes Captain George Vancouver with a Stamp
George Vancouver was already an old salt when he sailed with Captain James Cook aboard the Resolution on a voyage of exploration to find the long sought-after Northwest Passage. On June 22, on the 250th anniversary of his birth in the Norfolk port town of King's Lynn, England, Canada Post will issue an international rate stamp to mark his achievements during two decades of exploration.

Canada honors recording artists
Canada Post announced today that iconic recording artists Paul Anka, Gordon Lightfoot, Joni Mitchell and Anne Murray will be honored on Canadian postage stamps to be issued June 29, 2007.
This forthcoming release would appear to be the first in a series of pop issues.

Canonization of Blessed Charles
Blessed Charles 55c Stamp. The stamp celebrating the canonization of Blessed Charles in Rome on 3 June 2007 is based on a painting by James Hanley RHA. The painting of Blessed Charles features details of the facade of Mount Argus, Dublin with the farmhouse in Holland where he was born, in the background. The stamp was designed by Steve Simpson. UEFA EURO 2008
The UEFA European Football Championship 2008 is to be held in Austria and Switzerland from 7 to 29 June 2008. The Austrian Post Office as National Sponsor of UEFA EURO 2008 is issuing a block showing the UEFA EURO 2008 mascot "Trix and Flix". The two figures are dressed as footballers in red and white, the colours of the two host countries. Their spiky bright red hair recalls the mountains of Austria and Switzerland, which are also symbolically represented in the official logo of UEFA EURO 2008.

Maps of the Isle of Man
Isle of Man Post is pleased to present a set of stamps which surveys the cartography of the Isle of Man through the ages.
There are quite a few old maps of the Island in existence, but John Speed is the only cartographer who might be described as a household name. His maps are considered works of art as well as scientific documents.
