Purple Heart stamp to be reissued

USPS commemorates Franklin's 300th Birthday by issuing educational stamps this spring
If Benjamin Franklin were alive today (Jan. 17), he would be 300 years old and probably the most accomplished person on the planet. Europa 50 years
For many years Greenland has issued stamps of the EUROPA-series. The idea of a joint stamp issue was first conceived in the beginning of the 1950s, when the "Coal and Steel Community" (namely the Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, France, West Germany, and Italy) decided to issue an annual special issue with a common design.

100th Anniversary of the PARCEL POST stamp
While other countries can celebrate the 150th anniversary of the introduction of their first stamps these years, Greenland can celebrate the 100th anniversary of the first PARCEL POST stamp, which was not an actual stamp, but purely to be used for franking parcel post. This stamp constitutes a significant contribution in acknowledging the history of Greenland. This anniversary stamp is the second in the series of a total of three stamps.

Austria: Personalised Stamps - Blue border
The personalised stamps issued by the Austrian Post Office under the brand Meine.Marke ("My Stamp") has increased in popularity ever since it was launched roughly two years ago. The weekly magazine "Format" recently included it amongst the 25 best business ideas of recent history, and in 2004 Meine.Marke even won the National Marketing Prize for the Austrian Post Office.

Canada sends 'Happy Birthday' wishes to Queen Elizabeth
